Welcome to the world of technology. Three dimensional images are now being created from the interference of light beams from a laser or other coherent light source, these are called holograms.

You can view images at their best sight. How about interacting with this images? That's what the Holoplayer one does. The device allows users to display and interact with 3D creatures.

You don't need glasses to view these holograms, you see and interact with it with your two naked eyes. You can watch the video here.

The HoloPlayer One has an LCD screen that sends 32 views of a given scene towards their designated directions simultaneously. The 3D image can be observed and rotated from different angles. The image you will see looks as if it's appearing in midair.

Holoplayer one has two versions; The development and the premium version. The development version costs $750 and all you need is an HDMI hooked up to a computer. The premium version works independently, it has a built-in PC.

Holoplayer is foldable. Lookingglass really shocked the world with this great device

    Pros:

    • good for showing product prototypes at exhibitions etc.
    • there is no better way of interacting with objects than through hands and motion

    Cons:

    • works only from one angle
    • it's a pioneer, there will be better versions
    • expensive
    • not wireless

        Pros:

        • It is like bringing those Sci-fi movies in real life without needing any VR devices to see images in 3D
        • You can construct 3D images with your bare hands. This would be perfect for creating 3D graphics.
        • Best used for detailed presentations that require 3D visuals

        Cons:

        • Quite pricey but defitinely worth the innovation that it could give

          Pros :

          • It has 2K screen and two 3W speakers
          • It has a variety of connection that you can select from
          • It has a system that is equipped with Intel realSense
          • It is a good way to prevent your eyes from radiation effects of LCD monitors

          Cons:

          • Both their developer and Premium edition are very expensive

            Watched the video. Don't let the disembodied talking head dissuade you.
            Pros

            • no cumbersome bulky nerdy goggles needed
            • being able to manipulate 3d models so NATURALLY
            • if you have to make 3d models as stl obj files etc, imagine how much it would help to be able to rotate your model around on all axes for inspection of holes and cracks!

            Cons

            • cost but 750$ not that bad really

                Pros:

                • new technology on the market
                • interaction with images
                • doesn't need glasses
                • competitive price
                • development and premium versions

                Cons:

                • only 3W speakers

                New technology on the market. Great gadget to research holograms. Usable for showing demos and prototypes.
