There are plenty of third-party launchers out there that give nice graphics user interface, but for users tired of colourful, fancy and chaotic launchers, or are tired of app drawers and widgets, and fans of GNU/Linux, Linux CLI Launcher can replace the launcher with one that perfectly mimics the Linux terminal interface.
Linux CLI Launcher replaces the home screen with a terminal-styled interface that uses commands to control at least the basics on an android. With the launcher, it is very easy to text, call, or manage contacts using simple commands that are typed into the terminal on the home screen. The commands are simple to use and easy to remember, and with more practice helps to understand how to use basic terminal commands on computers.
Here are some of the commands that can be used on the interface:

  • uninstall (app)
  • call (name)
  • sms (contact name) (text)
  • restart
  • free
  • calc
  • search (-p, -f, -g, -y, -u)
  • wifi
  • flash
  • rate
  • time
  • share (file)
  • mv / cp (file) (destination)

    Pros:

    • this quick launching app works smooth and is light in performance
    • I found something good about this app is that it supports the LINUX commands. I had learn't LINUX long time back and wanted to refresh my LINUX knowledge and it works really well.
    • it has saved the battery life of my mobile and the storage place too
    • They also have auto suggestions that helps in working more easily with the commands

    Cons:

    • I observed that after I installed the new theme, I could not go back to the old one. Sounds like something needs to be fixed here

      • If your phone has a screen that you do not like, immediately you use this one launcher app, will make your screen colorful and good impression.
