You are getting it all wrong. You don't choose seat, seat is chosen for u, and I believe you connect with people on other social media like facebook and what sap, this is just the same way, just that you only get to connect with people that you will be travelling with on the same airplane and it is not by force, your choice to connect or not... not everybody loves to sleep or eat during a flight, so you cant compare everyone hobbies with yours, we are humans and we are different....
