Have you ever heard of beta blockers?? In case you haven't here's the low down...

"Beta blockers, also known as beta-adrenergic blocking agents, are medications that reduce your blood pressure. Beta blockers work by blocking the effects of the hormone epinephrine, also known as adrenaline. When you take beta blockers, your heart beats more slowly and with less force, thereby reducing blood pressure."-source

Ok now that we're clear on that, these little wrist devices do the same thing, just without pills! And I'm down with anything that keeps us from taking unnecessary drugs.

These little guys work by sending vibration pulses through your wrists, which effects your brain's fight or flight response, which is essentially that deep feeling of stress and anxiety... for me it's the one I get at the dentist, I'd love to try these out tomorrow when I have to go for a visit!

While stress is usually a healthy response to a dangerous situation, I could see these as being hugely helpful for someone who suffers from an anxiety disorder, or even for kids with autism.

Super win in my book!

    Pros: - Anything that help reduce those stressful and anxious moments is welcomed.

    • decent design

    Cons: You have to wear both devices at the same time? Not stylish :). I couldn't think of a better one.

    Pros:
    Over 58% of seniors are on blood pressure medications, if this eliminates the need for the medication this is a winner in my book.
    simple to use
    may address and soothe other problems like anxiety

      • help reduce stress and anxiety in as few as 30 seconds while you go about your daily activities

      Cons :
