The DI4D Pro system can already record high-resolution facial data with three cameras. Only a standard video lighting is used, no structured light projection, markers and make-up are needed. The sequences recorded at up to 60 frames per second can be of unlimited length using the stream-to-disk method. The DI4D editing and tracking software is available for editing the scenes.
The DI4D PRO system is used to produce high fidelity facial data for triple A video games, movie and TV projects, and research work within the facial surgery, psychology, and orthodontics sectors.

The guy looks so funny in the gif. 😜This looks like an awesome system for capturing the real emotion of a human. Does that mean we can capture and save a different type of facial expressions?
The facial expression filmed and moved with the DI4D PRO SYSTEM can be transferred to other persons with the DI4D software. A 100 % result is especially important for close-ups, otherwise it does not appear real.
I think Technology like this is mostly used in the film industry, Filmmakers want to show their viewer almost real looking film.
I am seriously impressed. I've seen many facial expression captures that ended up being a little uncanny. DI4D ahead of that. Most impressive part is the amount of work they have done being really impressive. They have been a part of some of my favorite works and some ambitious projects like Quantum Break. DI4D is easily one of the best solutions in the market. What I'm it sure of is the price because these guys have to be expensive for being this great.

Last generation technology, no doubt about it. The facial animations that it creates are impressive since it allows to generate even the most minimal features and factions of the face; without a doubt it will be a tool very used in the world of the cinematographic animation.
