Snibox is a self-hosted solution to organize and keep your snippets. It supports
- Markdown
- Plain Text
- Code Highlighting of various programming languages
in a categorized manner. Even though, you can keep and store your little scripts, it can be also used for personal notes, reminders with the markdown support.
It's an open-source project built with RoR, and Vue.js + Vuex. It's not a SAAS solution, means that you need to deploy your own Snibox. Various deployment options (Heroku 1-click deploy, Docker, ubuntu.) are already documented.
I use my own directory with markdown files (edited via Sublime Text.) to store this kind of content. With a clear UI like that, I am considering making a switch to a local instance of Snibox on my macbook.
