Very cool idea, I have never heard of these light bulbs before. I live out in the country and my power goes out frequently for short periods of time so this would be perfect for me.. cool hunt.
Yes its not New, but yes most of us don't know about it, and at Country like Pakistan where electric load shedding is one of the main problem in most of the area, this bulb will really help
and help students mainly, so they can continue their studies
Yeah it might not be new as you said but what i like about it is that your wall switch which should normal work with AC power source can control this bulb when there is power outage.
I have something like this in my house and it is really helpful during power outage, but here you didnt state that it recharges when there is electricity...
