Hermit is an app that allow you to create Lite Apps from any website. It gives it an icon that you can copy to your home screen. The app itself comes with a library of apps which increases with every update but you can easily create your own app by copying a website's URL.
It is like an improvement on the chrome shortcut. Hermit apps support notifications and come with Adblocker, malware blocker, and popup blocker as well as night mode. It also saves data by loading smaller sized images and helps you conserve your battery.
Hermit is available only on Android and it is around 3MB in size.

Great for avoiding the data hungry and privacy-ignoring Facebook and Twitter apps, but it also makes for a handy way to turn your favorite alternative news sites or forums into a reader app
Pretty useful. Makes a copy of the mobile app but quite usefully remembers your logged in state so you dont need to keep logging in yourself. Easy to use.
A great app for the common lot like me. A must and very useful app in phones having minimal resources.
At first I thought it was just an intelligent way to create shortcuts to websites but investigating more thoroughly I realized that no, because in addition to creating shortcuts we can also create and include more links to the same shortcut to create custom "apps" to sites web that allow us to navigate more easily through a web page adding several windows to the same shortcut.
Sadly I don’t know much when it comes to lite app building but am willing to try so I’ll read more on this so as to understand how this truly works
