RE: ethereal halo - World First 5D Printer

in #steemhunt6 years ago

Hi @danieldoughty,

Thanks for yet another hunt. Sadly enough I can not approve it as per ethereal’s website the only 3D printer they can currently be contacted for to order is the 3D Concrete printer. Not yet the Ethereal Halo.

As such the Halo is not yet available for (pre-)order and can not yet be featured on Steemhunt.

As per Steemhunt posting guidelines section 8, your hunt will be de-listed if:

share a product that is no longer available (except for pre-order stage)

Sort:

Nope, It is available for pre-order, you need to contact the manufacturer.

Hi @danieldoughty, sadly enough I can not find anything about availability on the website.

If you can reference me where the 5-axis (5D is clickbait :P) halo printer is said to be available, then I can approve it. Without any mention of its availability on their site, or an ecommerce platform, it’s a non-starter.

The halo is still Consider 3D , hence the category they won in CES Is 3D category. It just it is what people has started called it 5D since there is 5 axis . Their method of sales Is directly through the manufacturer. It is mention in the website to contact the manufacturer.

I’m sorry, I see no mention about contacting for purchase when I look at the Halo. As such it’s not available in the sense of Steemhunt. Please submit when their product site makes it more obvious that it can be purchased, until then IMHO it’s a prototype which received an award. There’s even no FAQ.

You claim that on the website Only concrete 3D can be contacted for order, not yet the ethereal halo. Where does it state that in the website?

All of the product to purchase need people to contact the manufacturer.

It doesn’t state it’s available. The website even has no FAQ providing information about the topic of availability. Only thing which has an explicit link, to a contact form, is the Concrete 3D.

At Steemhunt, we require that the purchase options are obvious. If it doesn’t state anywhere that it’s available (via contacting them), it doesn’t comply with our posting guidelines because... it isn’t obviously available for order.

I did tell you though if you could reference me anywhere that it is available... but clearly you can only repeat the same.

Stays de-listed because no obvious order option. That is all.

yet pre-order is accepted, the way the company operates to pre-order is required for the purchaser to contact the manufacturer.

you also mention" as per ethereal’s website the only 3D printer they can currently be contacted for to order is the 3D Concrete printer " which the website did not state that.

That is all.

can you please advise, where does in the guidelines, it states "At Steemhunt, we require that the purchase options are obvious."

In my initial reply I mentioned:

If you can reference me where the 5-axis (5D is clickbait :P) halo printer is said to be available, then I can approve it.

We do not accept products which aren’t available (PG8) and the hunters shouldn’t have to go on a mission to find out.

In all the time since de-listing your hunt you could easily have fired them an email, or linked me news posts which state its availability.

The website for the Halo makes no mention of any order or availability and as such it isn’t available for us.

That is final. I will not further respond to this “it is available” unless you indeed can reference me that.
