RE: Moto 360 Sport - Wear your smart,Heart rate and GPS tracker on your wrists

It really pisses me off that manufactures, produce these so beautiful wearables... and then forget about waterproof and battery requirements, kind of kill most potential buyers?

Come on,

Battery life
300mAh - Up to a full day of mixed use with Ambient on5

UP TO A DAY??? Ridiculous... so, it means if I am going to a place camping for 2 or 3 days, I can't use something like this without thinking about re-charging it? More weight to carry, etc... bahhh...

Being waterproof is really not that important or do you intentionally want to dip your hand inside water with it on?

Not that it would really make any difference, but being water resistant does not mean "resist heavy rain for 4 hours". Basically, if someone does not really understand the specification tests for the IPX standard, with time you will understand that water resistant is really basically not much. Being waterproof for me, under the IPX standard is the minimum I would consider to be "relaxed" under any daily weather conditions (and I am not considering going into unsalted water).

Anyways, how many go under the shower with their watches? pretty normal no (which is not for IPX water-resistant conditions)? And how many of you just wanna wash your car, or bike or dishes... same thing!

All the above are not situations considered to resist water. Yes it works and your device keeps working... but eventually it will not. Plus warranty will not cover too.

The reason I hate it so much is mostly because it's all about the money. The tests for higher ratings are much more costly and therefore, harder to achieve profit with cheap products.

It will change one day... once nothing that IS NOT waterproof, is basically that much valuable. Just like the thing about "wireless Ethernet" and "cordless devices".
