I always thought one of the industries that can benefit from blockchain technologies is the music industry. I definitely see publishing, managing, and sharing of music on the blockchain if done right. Blokur seems interesting, and hopefully, the will succeed in this endeavor. Nice find.
Thanks, and indeed, I agree. Music industry is super fragmented with many small companies and requires a lot of work. All the music platform where artists can share and sell their music are nice, but to make a buck of relevance, such p2p selling of material will not work. Networks are key and cost a lot of time and requires business skills many artists do not have. To counter thee existing models, the industry requires automation, transparent contract solutions and added to that some of the more traditional services all well integrated. Blokur shows they understand this in my opinion and certainly have potential to become a dominant player, when they execute the right steps forward. Thanks for your comment, view and feedback.
