I think this uses 360 degrees to create a VR scenario where one can add voice, so that overall experience is real like. Just read @m-ssed-t's comment so hope my understanding is correct. If it is, this is the future of instagram stories. And if my understanding is right, this is incredible.
Errrr, is this actually VR?
Other than the fact they call the 360 degree photos 'VR Drops', I don't think there's anything else "VR" about this.
Yes, it's good to be able to share 360 degree photos, and adding a voice-over might be nice for some of your friends, but I can't really see what's new & unique about this platform/app.
Maybe this is phase 1 of their development plan, and a more immersive experience is planned later (not sure how they'll do that, as people can't easily create true VR content on their phones), but for now...I just don't get it.

Virtual reality experience are fun among peoples. This is so amazing platform where we can create and also share virtual reality experience with others who are interested.
As a matter of fact yeah recent way of seeing the usage of VR has been really exciting and has been getting much more and by this way it could really be an efficient way to share the experience with others as well.
