Hi @globetrottergcc,
Thanks for your hunt. Sadly enough I can not approve it as the Lensta has been previously hunted already. Always make sure to check whether an item has been hunted already because Steemhunt doesn’t allow duplicate listings.
I searched for it and it sid not hunted, I wish the search option is working correctly, anyhow, thanks for the heads up. Would be difficult to continue as strange when you search it, it reveals not listed only to find the other way round. Good luck to you guys, I'm done with it, can't waste my precious time on this.
Search is working correctly. Here it is.
That’s how I found the duplicate listing. Make sure spelling isn’t autocorrected by your device/OS. That can mess with the search results but it always finds brands.
Okay thank you I searched it rather with the link, will give it a try, hope it works fine this time. Thank you once again for highlighting the right way to search.
Search tips (or at least how I search as mod):
More often than not, except for really popular brands, you will immediately find the product if hunted already.
The link checker is merely an additional check but especially for crowdfunding campaigns (even more so with IndieGoGo) there’s usually multiple links available or one can remove/add the trailing slash, the hash (IGG), use the short link etc.
If doesn’t show up in search, but link is used it means the product was hunted already but de-listed for whichever reason. Normally links are made available again after 8 days (because people can edit the post).
Okay got it thank you for such nice details. Now, it would be a proper search & hunt ;)
