Olarm is a KickStarter project where they claimed that it was already 100% funded in 2 days.
They claim that Olarm can do many things, with all kinds of detectors.
What can Olarm detect?
- Motion
- Open / closing of doors and windows
- Water leakage
- Smoke alarm
- Temperature and humidity
It is also much cheaper than ADT, SimpliSafe or most of the security systems that are available in the market. The average cost of Olarm will be around $150.
Apparently it is able to detect motion and even body heat, which is incredible if it actually works. Water leaks can also be detected and subsequently notified on the app.
You can monitor the security using their mobile app. Olarm uses signals like Wifi and Bluetooth from the household members to decide whether to arm or disarm your home.
This means if a burglar come in, they'll probably mark him or her as an unknown presence and trigger the alarm (as the burglar is unlikely to have the app's permission).

AMAZING HUNT ALVIN ! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS PRICING . PRICING OF THIS SEEMS WAY TOO HIGH AND MAY BE A BARRIER FOR ITS ADOPTION COZ THERE ALREADY EXIST MANY PRODUCTS IN HOME AUTOMATION AND SAFETY SYSTEM IN THE MARKET AT A CHEAPER PRICE. MAYBE ITS HIGH BECAUSE IT'S IN ITS EARLY STAGES , BUT OTHERWISE PRODUCT IS GREAT .
