UnitX provides supercomputers with platform as a service model (PaaS). The price is currently $0.16/core/hr. but I don't know how effective the processor power is. If it is strong enough, it can come handy for machine learning, data science, rendering stuff etc.

The need for supercomputers is increasing every day.
Of course, the price that must be spent is also very expensive, with the existence of the Platform as a service business model, it might help answer the need for supercomputers.

This is a great way to make supercomputers more affordable and accessible to more people. But you're right, it would all depend on how powerful the company's platform really is.
