This looks like it has the potential to be awesome, but I am still a little sceptical right now. Say for instance you take a picture of a chicken wing, there is a big difference between a breaded chicken wing versus one with no sauce, versus a baked, versus a fried wing. The composition and cooking methods go a long way to determining caloric value. This looks like its on the right path, but still needs some fine tuning.
