This looks like a cool app. Being able to track the dosage, effect and other areas. sharing data is likely needed just to build the database, but yeah I also agree on keeping user data private. Interesting find, good hunt
They use data also for surveys. That’s actually how I discovered the app.
I haven’t dug through the whole privacy policy but it could be that data is used in a style similar to 23andme. The main usecase is medical users and sharing with dispensary is obvious in order to get better recommendation from the store. But what happens with the data when one switches dispensary?
Users should definitely make sure they are aware of the privacy policy first. At least those who care.
