This definitely has some practical use. One thing I love about living in Asia is that most homes are key codes and not actual keys anymore. No need to carry around keys with the possibility of losing them, just gotta remember your door code. Similar idea, but still too much technology needed
Yes this device searched is really useful, no more worrying too much about losing of keys. Add to it is, you can control it through your smartphone over WiFi or buletooth
