Everything wants to be smart these days, and solar powered. I have seen so many products that are solar powered, charging and wi-fi hot spots, and now even the rubbish bin wants this status. The internet of things is really taking over. Having said that, the convenience is undeniable, and sanitation is excellent from the sensors that auto open the lid so you don't have to touch it.
