Bolt is an open source Content Management System which aims to make the user experience both developers and editors pretty convenient and easy as much as possible.

This open source content management system tool is having an MIT license wherein all permissions are being allowed. See the LICENSE.md of Bolt’s official Github repository.

This Content Management System (CMS) tool has a lot of things to offer to developers (both front end and back end developers) and content editors.

For developers,

  • Front End developers, it is of great help to those who want to learn the modern HTML 5 and a very good application for those who know HTML 5, there are lots of documentations which can be used as reference, eases coders wanted structure thanks to the Twig templates and to top it all, it has built-in search. For back end developers, Bolt allows the usage of ContentTypes to create pages, blogs and etc.; it is built on Silex/Symfony and to top it all, it is secure.

For content editors,

  • The user interface of this software is user-friendly and very responsive to the user which makes it pretty straightforward and easy for editing.

      This is one awesome hunt you got here @josephace135.

      Now for my personal feedback below :

      Pros :

      • It is an open source application software which is good
      • It does aim to have the best user experience on both developers and editors in a more convenient and easy way as much as possible
      • It is also a user friendly interface that makes it more easy for editing
      • It is also very responsive to user which is a great addon to the software
      • A good for documentation and managing of system

      Cons :

      • A good software. I have nothing to go against it.
