Lactor AROCO is a really well thought-out project. I'm more interested by the part that was designed for our grandma and grandpa. As you know, the old persons are struggling to follow technology, and sometimes even using a normal cell phone might be impossible for them.

When we look at the current generation, the smart phones are almost like an organ for all of us. So in this case old persons living without 1 organ.

Personally, I wonder when my grandfather is out there alone especially during the summer months, the risk of heart attack is increasing, because the weather is too hot. In that case, I'm more curious to my grandpa. If the person who uses this device falls to the ground, the phone comes up with a notification that he fell down.

In addition to this device, which has a lot of uses for parents as well, allows them to see the location even if child is lost outside. Not only seeing their location but also the child may send a snap to their parents.

  • To be honest, I can say that Lactor AROCO is one of the best projects I've seen lately...

    • Easy for seniors to us
    • Good way to tract them for safety
    • wifi enabled which is good
    • less worries for them
    • safety
    • can have quick alert when there are accidents

      • It can be enjoyed by our seniors which making them having health and active lifestyle
      • A good way to keep informed family members for their senior's home environment
      • It does provide GPS location data and WiFi network which keeps us notify whenever our senior leaves and enters the house or any specific locations
      • A great application to caregive your seniors
      • It can monitor the whereabouts of seniors and projects interactive map
      • It has simple design which are really convenient to use for the seniors
      • It has also fall detection alert

      Cons:

      • Great application for care giving. I have no cons for this app.

        • Creation of time table
        • Compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G

        Cons:

        • Privacy Breach
        • Phone has to be GYROSCOPE enabled to use the app

          Pros:

          • Keep an eye for your seniors and/or children in an easy way
          • Especially useful when the seniors are senile or demented
          • Clean and good to understand UI
