Frauds and fraudulent activities cuts across all industries. Companies incur huge amount yearly combating the extent of such activities on their platforms. There's very little they could do, at best they block accounts. But this impacts greatly on good users.
Prevalent amongst fraudulent activities are stolen credit/debit cards. Most companies only require you to enter details of your card without knowing if it was stolen or not.
There's a solution to that. With Dyscan, users of platforms can enter payment information by holding their credit cards up to a smartphone’s camera. Then the card gets verified and if it is real, it goes through. If it's fake, it gets declined.
And of course, Dyscan is an SDK. Applications would have to integrate it into their payment check out process.
