Such a unique to have a Password Based Door Lock System in a small amount, the main component of it is the 8051 Microcontroller, this project is too simple to use on which you can secure a password that will act as a door unlocking system. It is too common for us to hear that the lock system already in the market, but thinking it is made of a small microcontroller unlike the common that is made of mechanical lock and key mechanism. These new technique is the integration of both mechanical and electronic devies that are highly intelligent. One of the best feature of these innovative lock system is their simplicity yet high efficiency.
The Principle Behind the Circuit
Obviously, the main component of the circuit is the 8051 controller and a 4x4 Matrix Keypad that is used to enter the password. The password which has been entered is compared with the predefined password.
Components Required
Hardware
- 8051 Microcontroller
- 8051 Development Board
- 8051 Programmer
- 4x4 Matrix Keypad
- 16x2 LCD
- L293D Motor Driver Board
- DC Motor
- 10k Potentiometer
- Connecting Wires
Software
- Keil microVision IDE
- Willar Programmer
- Proteus (for simulations and diagram)
What are the Advantages
- This project provides security
- Power consumption is less
- Used commonly available components
- Project is simple and easy
What are the Applications
- The circuit can be used in any residential places to ensure a better safety
- It can be used at organizations to ensure authorized access to secured places.
- With some modifications, this product can be used to control the switching loads.
Much better to have a protection than nothing, securing our home is the same as we secure our family. This product will help people to have good quality protection.

i'm afraid i can't let this one go, the e-commerce site is not one we support and well, while it might be cool and all it's not really got that WOW factor, also i'm not really if this can be seen as a full package home security system -- more of a project board and then everything else would be needed to add to it.. sorry i have to delist this one :)
but please try again, feel free to message me #moderation-teamhumble on discord channel before you submit another, i realise this would have been your first and i want you definitely put something up that's accepted. please read the guidelines links below.
