Great hunting! Even today, there are already many people, who live in colder climates who would love this tech. But there are also skiers, mountain climbers, hikers, etc.

And yes, if the climate does take a turn for the drastically worse (where global warming may trigger massive shifts in climate and throw much of Europe into a mini-ice age), tech like this will be a requirement, not a "nice to have".

Interesting that it's made of stainless steel fibre - obviously nano-tech, but I thought carbon fibres were seen as the be-all-end-all in that respect (shows how little I know!).
