It is in the news lately, Chanel 5, the first perfume launched by Coco Chanel, is being teased to move over. That is because AI perfume maker, Philyra, is here!
It is a system that uses new and advanced machine learning algorithms to sift through hundreds of thousands of formulas and thousands of raw materials, helping identify patterns and novel combinations. Philyra does more than serve up inspiration – it can design entirely new fragrance formulas by exploring the entire landscape of fragrance combinations to discover the whitespaces in the global fragrance market.

With the continuous development of artificial intelligence, it is no longer a surprise that AI application will be concocting perfurmes.

Hi @macoolette, the link that you've provided is more of a blog article/research paper than an official product webpage. I'm not sure if this product is actually available to anyone yet.

Hi @urbangladiator. IBM's main product lines are more on server hardware and IT consulting services so this new AI app they created is not lined up with their "regular" products and services. I think it has the same logic as my previous hunt: https://steemhunt.com/@macoolette/bmw-intelligent-personal-asst-ai-inspired-intelligent-digital-assistant-on-board-bmw-cars wherein the intelligent personal assistant can not be lined up with the cars so it was launched through BMW's official blog site.
In regards to availability, I quote this statement from the product link.
With this, I believe Philyra app is already available, tested and used.

Artificial intelligence is reshaping our lives and it is good to see that it is being used to generate different kinds of fragrances. It is very difficult to satisfy the choices of every human as we all have different choices. So this may be able to satisfy! :)

philrya an artificial intelligence can do it wow. What is technology running into, this is crazy. Really love what i am seeing and will be seeing how Philrya makes it more competitive.

I always wondered about how perfumers managed the thousands of fragrances in the market and how could create new formulas smarter, I mean Phylaire could suggest them original interesting combinations.
Artificial intelligence like this Philyra can now do the work. 😊
