wow @xawi! This is quite a nice hunt and very handy too!
As it is saving the chain of wiki pages along with their attachments (pictures, pdf or sound files etc.) in a synchronised folder structure... so we can read and write complex articles as we found on Wikipedia (where you can see hyperlinks which on clicking will let you go to another page) as hyperlinks.

I did visit their website and found them unique and very friendly. I would like to point out some of the advantages.

Zim can be used by us for-:

• Keeping an archive or tons of notes
• we can Keep a daily/weekly journal.
• We can Take notes during meetings or during other works.
• We can Organize task lists or to-do lists.
