Pros:

• It can save a life. This is very important, it would be horrible to lose a child due to accidentally leaving them in the car.
• Peace of mind. Some parents are super busy. Hopefully most parents aren't quite that busy but this is tool is out there for those who are.
• Temperatures are getting warmer (on average) all over the world, so leaving a child in the car has ever increasing risk. Even if the child survives, the experience would still be horrible.
• Smartphone notification integration. This is valuable as parents don't have to buy or carry around something else all the time.
• Device can be forgotten about. Just stick it on the seat so that you don't have to remember it either!

Cons:

• Doesn't seem to be a full solution for children or pets. We don't want to leave pets in hot cars, either!
• Hopefully most parents always know where their children are in the first place...
