There is a powerful keyboard made by yamaha called motif XF, it's in series. The Montage 8 is here with more sophisticated features that can aid a better music output and performance.

According to Yamaha the manufacturer of montage 8, montage 8 has a synthesizers which would set the next milestone with amazing dynamic control, streamlined workflow and massive sound creation.

Lets see some few Prons and Cons

Cons

• Montage 8 does not have Sequencer meaning laying of tracks is not possible. In short the yamaha montage 8 is no fit for workstation.

• The Yamaha montage 8 dies not have sampler

• The super Knob on the yamaha montage 8 blinks and it can be distracting

• Very expensive, the cheapest you can get it is for $4000

Prons

• It Inspired a musician to want to learn more about music

• Impressive Sound quality with DSP/Effects engines

• The Montage 8 has touchscreen and also the button but the touch screen makes it easier to just select a particular voice or style you want

• A keyboardist can switch between voices without breaking the sound. Pretty amazing for live performance.

• 128note stereo polyphony

• Montage 8 has motion sequence which implies the keyboardist have full control of expressiveness of different music genres.

• The knob that blinks can be turned off.
