Jzip is a file compression tool that allow users to archive and compress different files to a lower and more secure size.
Most times you probably downloaded a file from the internet, be it an education software, games and sometimes ebooks and what you later found out, is that this files are somewhat compressed to a different format that your PC does not support. Most times, this files are zipped or compressed to lower their size and other times as a security form to act against viruses, or not been deleted by your PC anti-virus.
Some files are also zipped to ease transfer from a PC to another or a mobile to a PC, with Jzip you will be able to unzip such files and Jzip supports a wide range of various formats.
Ever come across such files again, don’t panic let Jzip unzip it for you and yes it is free to use.

I have actually done something like this in 2006... but I was dedicated to loss based Algo, where you could recover the full compressed data but, only under full storage of the offseted data. Basically making the offset very large, in such way you can compress lots and diverse amount of data, while only holding the offset (very big one).
Study cases where, for example... having 1TB of offset, would allow me to compress Petabytes... into Megabytes.
