Compress your file and password them, also act as a security against files been deleted by antivirus's

Such files might be executable files, that’s .exe and if you ever use avast antivirus, then you probably come to cases were such files were deleted even though they were not virus to begin with.

Winrar compresses and archives such files saving them in different formats and acts as a shield against antivirus like avast and others.

Unlike Jzip, it supports a wider range of compressed files ranging from tar to .iso.

If you ever downloaded .iso file from the net, you probably run into cases were it requires you to first burn such files into cd or bootable usb drive to use them, but with winrar, you can easily extract such files and install them appropriately.

Unlike Jzip, winrar is not free and cost certain amount of money, but then it is worth it.

    This program is one of the most used in years by many of us to compress everything in a single file the truth to many has helped them in addition that you can keep your files safe by placing a password.

    Really a quite used and necessary application.

    Hello @otemzi, I really appreciate your effort & This is very basic and I am using this from last 1 year and I had a good experience with it.
    Here is my opinion-

    Pros:

    • Easy to use
    • Efficient & Fast
    • Safe way to reduce the size of a file

    • none
