Pros:
It is definitely a plus since it teaches the app users to determine the persons carbon footprint. It also tracks how much electricity that you are using everyday, water and gas.
There's a column showing your rank. If you find out that you are on the top tier of people that are contributing carbon footprint that is already a wake up call and if you are on the low tier it's time to share the best practices that you are doing since it covers the whole community.
Cons:
Overall I can say that Green Products should be prioritized in the market now and proper education to the all should be implemented to lessen the carbon usages.
