What is Hydro Coach

Water is an essential need of the body. It does a lot of helpful benefits to our health. Thus, we should drink more water everyday. However, we tend to forget to take sufficient amount of water and don't even know if what we drink is enough for our body needs. Hydro Coach is an app that will monitor your water intake and reminds you how much still to drink

Advantage

  • it is so easy to use. Just log in the type of water glasses/containers you use in drinking
  • tap that specific container every time you make a drink
  • it automatically computes your water intake and tells you how much more to drink for the rest of the day
  • reminds you when to drink
  • get a healthier self upon taking the right water needs of your body
  • it gives you daily and weekly stats of your water intake

Disadvantage

  • keep your phone on to monitor your progress

      pros:

      • the most obvious benefit is of course like you said the health benefit this brings
      • educational benefit since most people do not know how much water they should drink at least

      cons:

      • if you give it a thought it is quite strange to think we need to rely on our apps notification to drink water
      • since many factors are involved in how much water you should drink I believe it won't be that accurate in some situations (like on a day you do a ton of sport or going out for a swim,...)
