Hunter's comment
Trill is a community that helps people find support with mental health issues. It guarantees anonymity by using the TOR network's technology. This allows people to openly talk about their problems without having to fear harassment or prosecution.
Moderators and machine learning algorithms make sure that bullying and unkind comments are prevented.
The goal of the project is " to have people of all backgrounds supporting each other on Trill, regardless of gender, age, sexuality, race, or any other factor. ". The main focus is to create a space for individuals with all sorts of identities to express themselves freely and talk about anything they are not comfortable publicly sharing."

Although it's not first of it's kind (at least the same goal), I really like technology which is helping to solve a problem rather than searching for one (there's far too much out there searching for it). This comes from a good place and like the story:
I think that they've thought this idea out well and the use of anonymity, machine learning based moderation aids as well as being open to everyone, anywhere really compliments the idea.
Thank you Tobias for your Feedback! The combination of technology and the general idea is also what I like about this!
The idea is great and it seems the easiest way for anybody to get support from such a community since almost all of us have a smartphone. It has a downside though or a "con". It is available only for IOS and considering that android has its good share of smartphones using their operating system it might not get that popular.
You are right - so far there is no android version available. There might be on in the future though, they have commented on this in their FAQs:
"Why isn't there an Android version/When is the Android version coming?
We couldn't make the Android app initially because we didn't know how to develop Android apps, and we didn't have the money to pay a developer to do it. In the future, it's definitely in our plans to make an Android app, and if you want to be alerted when we do, send an email to [email protected] letting us know!"
Thanks for the reply. They have something figured for the android version after all. Hope that the android app will be rolled out soon as the idea is great in my opinion.
