HashiCorp Vault is a tool you can use to manage your secrets, it secure, stores and tightly controls access to tokens, API keys and tokens in modern computing.
It has a secret storage that let you store your secrets. It can also regenerate new secrets to control access to third-party resources.
It has a key rolling feature that lets its user update the secret you store in the vault at any time.
Vault has its own Audit Log letting its user know the details of all authenticated client interactions, such as authentication, token creation, secret access and secret revocation. The logs can be send to multiple backends to ensure redundant copies.
Afraid of leaking data to someone? or leaked data on the public before? this tools can be a help to you to make your secrets more secure by its audit log feature you will know the action of the user who get access to your secrets.

-it can store your existing secrets, or it can dynamically generate new secrets to control access to third-party resources or provide time-limited credentials
-All data that Vault stores is encrypted.
-Any dynamically-generated secrets are associated with leases, and Vault will automatically revoke these secrets after the lease period ends.
-Access control policies provide strict control over who can access what secrets
