Hunter's comment

Over 15 million Americans are at risk of anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction triggered by exposure to certain foods, materials, medications, and insect bites. Every three minutes, a food reaction sends someone to the emergency room.

Many of us are unaware of anaphylactic shock and acute allergic attack. Prevention is difficult and deaths still occur due to the allergic reaction.
The project is named after the victim 16-year-old Abbie Benford.

This wearable automatically monitors anaphylaxis signals in allergic patients and if found it will warn the patient, inform the caregiver's mobile and it automatically injects the medicine which saves the allergic reactive patient.
Those who are allergic can have this wearable to be safe from anaphylaxis shock and attack.

The Wyss Institute and Abbie Benford's parents who supports the research (https://keepsmilin4abbie.org/) made this possible.

thank you mod pia...have a great day

A real smart device....
Allergies can be troubling. I remember my cousin having aerosol allergy. He always felt vulnerable because of it.
This device can create an alert rapidly by detecting allergy causing elements, before they can kick in and start causing trouble.

This is one dangerous disease that have heard of and seriously it’s good to see a product which can detect this illness

With the increase in the numbers of anaphylaxis patients, I would say, this device must be added/included in the First Aid Emergency Kit.

Anaphylaxis is a deadly allergic reaction, we should take and treat it to its due level of seriousness. And, no doubt, this device is giving us a chance to save many lives.

Great sharing for/on a dangerous health issue, @sabari18.
