Not only they look amazing they also function better. Just wow! That is MIT being MIT. Everything about this product is so great. I just hope it won't cost too much. Finally architects will be able to design aesthetically pleasing houses while keeping them more green and sustainable.

As Solar panels roll out to more and more urban areas, they are an obvious and unsightly technology. With these style of panels, we get the environmental and cost benefits of high efficiency solar panels. We can have all that with a much more aesthetically pleasing appearance to the panels as well. It's a nice improvement to your everyday solar panels. Let's face it, most solar panel installations look like eye sores on a lot of roofs. So, this might help others overcome their hesitation to installing solar panel technology, since this won't stand out too much, and hopefully look better on most houses.

I remember that a couple of years ago I saw that Tesla had something similar. We have to take advantage of all alternative energies in my house we heat the water with solar energy and we have saved a lot of money on gas bills.
