Relaxio is a versatile app that creates white noise to help you relax and concentrate.

But here's an even more amazing use for this free app, in my opinion: this app is super for people who want some privacy when making a phone call from their home or office!

Assuming you make the phone call from another phone, not the phone that this app is installed on. In today's age, we all love hardwood floors and most of us don't have wall rugs hanging up, which means that our phone conversations bounce around the room like an echo chamber or maybe you just want to complain about the person upstairs but you don't want her to clearly hear everything you're saying and you don't want to put on the annoying radio. Just throw on this white noise in the background.

As for the intended purpose of helping you concentrate ... how many times have you been at Starbucks trying to finish something tricky and here come those old people again, the ones who sit in the middle table, talking really loudly about their grown children's lives (loudly because they're hard of hearing and because they think it's really exciting to talk about). But you don't really want to listen to music because that would be too distracting, so just throw on your headphones and turn up this app.

You can mix and match different white noises such as rain, fans, the ocean. There is basic rain as well as rain against the window panes, which is surprisingly soothing ... and even the lightning makes good background noise, believe it or not. Probably not during the day, though.

If you're used to living in the city, the sound of cars and police sirens may bring you comfort as you drift off to sleep, but this version doesn't come with police sirens yet.

This app is very small to install because it's simple and no-frills, unlike many of those really bloated large apps that you can't even install without having to uninstall other apps or moving/deleting your videos first.

Of course you can also save your favorite "blends" of white noise and the timer feature keeps things automatic for you. Instant serenity and just enough random noise to keep you from falling asleep or to help you sleep.

UI Comment:
The bottom of the app has a banner ad section and even though the control buttons are at the bottom of the screen also, the control buttons are large enough that you won't accidentally hit the ad if you don't mean to (which is really annoying).
