About Caprine

Caprine is an unofficial desktop app for Facebook Messenger build on top of Electron and support cross-platform. The way this app work is using create an electron app layer on top of messenger site of Facebook. What's more exciting about it? It is open source!

Since Facebook did not create any desktop app, therefore this would be the app to go when you want to use Facebook Messengers on Desktop.

As a daily user of 3 operating system (Mac, Windows 10, Linux Mint), this is one of the must install applications in all my OS.

  • Support Facebook Work.
  • Blazing fast to open up and reply a message.

  • Notifications! this app support Desktop Notifications.
  • And it can display code blocks!!! (check the third photo)

Overall, If you are always on desktop, this would be the best app to be used to reply messages on Facebook Messenger.

    Pros :

    • Open source application software
    • It can run on many platforms which can be really convenient for every users
    • Fully supports Facebook integration, a good way to interact and social other people
    • It has many functions and features that users can select from
    • You will not get updated on every events and news since it supports Desktop Notifications to keep you well updated

    Cons :

    • A really good application, i have no cons for this

    Pros:

    • An open source application
    • Can run in different OS
    • You will no longer open a browser and typing facebook
    • This has many features and it is superb

      Nice find for facebook users who operates across different platform

      Pros;

      • For desktop. Great for marketers who needs to respond to hundreds of messages a day
      • Open source is always good

      Cons:

                pros:

                • The design is really attractive
                • Open-source so everyone can use it
                • Fast and seems not so much memory to be used
                • Great way to interact with others
