ok, this is mildly interesting, an electron wrapped app (meaning it works on mac, pc and linux) for downloading torrents with this new nice looking client, faster speeds, on demand streams and this novel idea of getting paid for seeding so if you have a fast upload speed and some connectivity you might wanna look into that! :)

so if you have something ultra rare you can share it and put on the price in crypto you want to be paid for it, that's quite interesting and i can certain see this being an inroads for 'release crews' to maybe find a new revenue stream for the latest high quality on demand warez! (just kidding, but hey maybe right?)

FAST DOWNLOADS
JoyStream rewards seeders for providing bandwidth with micropayments, and this leads to much higher download speeds on all content.

STREAMING
JoyStream makes it possible to download and seek to any part of a large HD audio or video file by simply requesting and paying for it directly, which makes streaming work as well as on the web

MORE CONTENT
JoyStream gives anyone with a full download a reason to stick around and become a seeder, which radically improves content availability.

PAID SEEDING
Anyone with spare bandwidth can use JoyStream and earn Bitcoin, at what ever price they choose, in exchange for seeding to peers. If you have some rare content which no one else has, you are rewarded by being able to charge higher prices.
