This is an android app that was recently launched. It is focused on making learning from online videos as easy as possible. Its a self-contained app so everything you do is in the app.

• Search for online videos within the app. Using it's education filter it gives you results minimizing distractions. You can also change search filter.

• Take down notes while watching the videos and come back to your notes any time.

• Make a playlist of videos and notes you've taken.

• Share your playlist with friends.

Knowvid is a very promising app but it's only available on android and still has more to do like making provision for the videos to be downloaded and viewed offline. But still, the idea of taking down notes while watching or learning from a video on the same app with minimal distractions and without minimizing is really effective for online learning. Hopefully more features will be introduced in the next version of the app.
