FIVE(5) ECCENTRIC OF SUCCESSFUL STEEMIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

in #steemit6 years ago

By success, we mean the attainment of a desired goal; financial profitability or the accomplishment of an aim.

Obviously, it’s the desire of every human to be successful, sadly, there is a wide gap between those who are successful and the number of those who aren’t. The ultimate factor that distinguishes the latter from the former is the amount of information such person(s) possesses as well as the level of corresponding application of such knowledge.

With respect to us steemians on the blockchain, there exist some disparities. These differentiate those who are at the top from those who are below. This article is therefore helpful, with respect to the fact that it will challenge us for greatness.
Here is an outcome of some of the experiences I’ve been able to gather while or during my stay here. Below are five eccentric habits or characteristics of Successful steemians. Let’s tour!

UNDERSTANDING OF NICHE

A NICHE is basically your area of blogging. Find a good niche that will interest your followers. If your audience find delight in your niche, definitely, you increase your fan base.
Meanwhile, it’s not about having a good niche, but it’s also about maintaining it. Be known for something unique.
Having a niche doesn’t mean that you can’t blog about another thing or that it limits you, (you can actually do other stuffs though), rather it means that you major in something.
Don’t use others’ success as a yardstick for measuring your amount of success, rather, Find your strength and prioritize on it. Then you’ll inevitably reap the fruits in return.

THE PLACE OF RELATIONSHIP

This is another very important aspect that a Steemit blogger must pay attention to. Your readers will find home in your blog and make it a place of constant visit if you adopt this strategy.
This strategy demands that you relate well with your fellow steemians, comment on good posts, reply to the comments on your articles, join a community or communities that can help you to interact and learn new things.
This will introduce us to the next item.

ATTENDING STEEMIT RELATED OCCASIONS

One of the ways in which the place of interaction is harnessed in attending Steem related occasions. Actually, for I myself, I’ve learned a lot about the Steem blockchain through Steemit meetups.
The first steemit meetup I attended way a Uniben meetup hosted by @Destinysaid at Edo State. That day, I learned and unlearned. I will always remain grateful to him for such an occasion. The other one was by Michaelcj where I was able to learn more about SMT. You must have heard about Steemcamp event.
As I always advise, “Have A Mentor”. The place of mentorship cannot be overemphasized.

VAST KNOWLEDGE AND STUDY

Just as it’s said:
You cannot rise above what you know.
That is, the level of knowledge we have about certain things that serves as the ladder to our growth. For instance, I might have an iPhone 7 but may not know how to exploit its usage to the maximum. It’s the level of knowledge I have about the phone that I will put into use.
Therefore, we can conclude that hunger for knowledge is a catalyst for growth. You must learn to read, use your online materials judiciously and increase your knowledge of how the crypto works.
Solutionists or problem solvers are vast readers. The likes of @Destinysaid, @Dante31 and @Michaelcj will explain this part better because it’s what I’ve come to learn from them. They didn’t just become blockchain or crypto experts overnight. It took a process – phases by phases.

WORKING WITH THE STEEM BLOCKCHAIN RULES

Yes, a very crucial part that must be discussed. Steemit itself is a lawful community. Sadly, a lot of persons are here for the wrong purpose. They don’t care to work in accordance to the rules provided they earn.log.
Tragic!
It’s this kind of negative orientation that births abuse: Tag abuse, tag spam, plagiarism…etc (you can read more about these on @Gracehills blog titled “Steemcourt Lesson 1 and 2”.
Plagiarism is thievery of intellectual property. You must learn to steer clear of Cheetah’s comment and the visit of Steemitclearners because this drives potential readers away from your blog.
Come to think of it, what’s the relevance of blogging when there’s no reader to read?
