Venezuelan adoption of DASH!

in #steemit6 years ago

If you are connected to the Internet than you probably know the Inflation of Paper Currencies in Venezuela. Things have become so bad that I saw a news saying that buying a chicken costs a stack of cash higher than the chicken itself.

DASH has been kind of going under the radar for quite some time but they have been working their ass off in the background. When almost everyone was busy debating BTC vs BCH DASH stealthily developed their adoption in Venezuela.

According to their data, they have already surpassed 3000 plus Merchant adoptions in Venezuela alone. Now I am making this post as a certain Video came in my Twitter Feed today. It's the video of a person Buying a Subway Sandwich and paying in DASH.

I was kinda shocked as to how fast the transaction went through. I know that DASH is fast but I did not expect that speed. Now I have been a firm believer of DASH. even though I don't hold a lot of DASH doesn't mean I don't believe in their vision.

Hello friend, I live in Venezuela and I can tell you with all property that is news is false. And I explain to you:

No. 1 NOT all Venezuelans have access to that currency.

No. 2. All Venezuelans as you well say and that if a chicken is true can cost more than the same minimum wage. Therefore, the vast majority of the poor, that I enter that range, we have to spend our money to buy food to feed our families.

No. 3 Those who do have access to that currency are always the ones with the most economic power in this case, the government delinquents who can manipulate the news and if they have to invest in that currency and as many are the best way they they found to be able to wash their illicit enrichment, that is why the monetary increase of that currency.

No. 4 I do not deny that there are companies that accept that currency, but the other side of that coin is that these companies are theirs. ] It's high corrupt officials of this country.

I think I've told you on other occasions that I'm a professor at a university and my salary does not reach $ 25 per month. Real friend again I tell you here things in Venezuela are very ugly and there are two realities that are seen outside and what happens in here. It is a horrible thing.

If you can, you should send a survey to all the Venezuelans that follow you and tell you their own realities. Mine and that of many is very sad and steemit in many cases example mine has saved me and supported me to buy food.

And first of all always grateful for your vote in your publications, because that 2% the sum of all those are part of a minimum salary that helps a lot ..
Thanks and I hope you can always continue making your Special Post Promotion Thread (Valid only for the First 5 Submissions)

I am from India so I can't know all the details on all the stuff going on in Venezuela. I am dependent on news and other outlets.

I like Steemit for this thing too as I am getting the truth from locals in Venezuela and I believe this is better news than what we get in the Articles, as they are most of the times over exaggerated.

Man I was trying so hard to give you a 10% Upvote but since I am in a train it's all wobbly, so you got a 14% Upvote.

I really hope that things change in Venezuela.

Greetings @arunava from Venezuela.

I am one of the few young people who continue working in Venezuela, most of the professionals emigrated because of the crisis that my country is going through.

I am sincere I am learning that in shops are accepting the Dash as a means of payment.

I saw the video that you mentioned on Twitter about a payment in Subway ... The cost of the sandwich in Sovereign Bolivars is 983.76 more than half a basic salary updated on September 01, 2.018. That is, there are few Venezuelans who can afford it.

The new basic salary in Venezuela is 1,800 Bs.S monthly converted to dollar today is 17.64 $.

Those who can pay with Dash are tourists or government people, the salaries here do not reach to invest in cryptocurrencies.

Of course, the means of payment is super practical, but unfortunately it is not within the reach of most Venezuelans.

Thanks for the support!

I heard about the Basic Salary problem from @lanzjoseg and honestly it is very sad to see a Country going through such problems.

Does it seems that the situation and conditions of Venezuela wersten every day?. May God hear their cry

Friend God listens to us, but the communist government kills him, they are a very well organized group that uses armed groups so that the believers in God can silence.

Ante la perdida del bolivar se vuelve una alternativa, esta lejos de ser la moneda corriente pero seguramente es mas solida que lo que hace el socialismo con el bolivar.
