Connecty.io is a 3.0 web platform focused on the Knowledge Economy. The goal of Connecty.io is to connect the world of knowledge (scientists, experts, etc) with the innovative world (start-up, small or big companies). The challenge is to promote, simplify and make faster trades between those two worlds to revitalise the knowledge economy, dramatically increasing its efficiency and performance.

Connecty is looking to streamline the relationship between businesses and research house by serving as the missing link between holders of knowledge and those responsible for transforming knowledge into innovation.
This knowledge ecosystem is setting out to accommodate all scenarios on the spectrum: from a short request for an expert’s opinion to a comprehensive research study that may stretch over a considerable period of time.
It is intended this will be open to all areas of knowledge and all fields of study ranging from physics, engineering and IT systems to ecology, environment and society plus everything in between.

Connecty.io desires to become one of the largest exchange places, a sort of a B2B Quora, where people looking for answers can find and trade information with those owning skills and knowledge.
The three main features are:

• An ambitious A.I engine that will be able to automatically translate any request from common language with simple words to a complex and technical one. This means that the system will be able to simplify any scientific jargon into an easily readable and manageable language. We have as advisor one of the best french experts in the field with Olivier Nerot

• A list of experts and scientists gathering knowledge owners from every field: physical sciences, mathematics, biology, economic sciences, psychology

• A system that connects and secures transactions and allows the creation of a trustful environment between different people. This system will be based on blockchain technology, using smart contracts to manage missions and a reputation rate system.
  The first and main target is the world of research and development (R&D). In 2015, this market was estimated to be worth 1.9 trillion US$ worldwide. In extension, the portion of this market that represented research coming out of labs and used for corporate purposes was only of 7%, corresponding to 135 billions US$.
  create a new ecosystem dedicated to knowledge with its own currency and circular economy based on blockchain technology.

CONNECTY: A UNIQUE TOKEN FOR A CURRENCY OF GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE

To enable the optimal functioning of our knowledge ecosystem, we create a dedicated currency, the CTY token (blockchain Stellar), the knowledge currency. This monetary creation taking the form of a token is essential for three reasons:

• Dissociation of knowledge exchanges from money. The vocation of researchers, their purpose, their motivation are based on the creation of knowledge. The association of these motor values with the financial aspect of the notion of exchanges can, for some at least, prove to be delicate. Therefore, the use of a token embodying the knowledge economy seems to allow us to overcome this reluctance bygoing beyond the single monetary concept attached to the exchange. With a dedicated token, the exchange will not be reduced to a single financial transaction. It materializes the fluidity of the sharing of knowledge, keystone of the advent of a true circular economy of knowledge.

• A means of quantifying the exchanges occurring within the circular economy of knowledge. The stake of the project, to allow the freedom and unlimited exchange of knowledge between the actors, cannot be conceived without the introduction of a unit of measurement, the token CTY, intended to quantify the exchanges in order to be fair and equitable in regards to those most involved in sharing.

Concretely, those who bring more knowledge (by contribution we mean remunerated missions in CTY tokens) than they acquire will be able to convert this surplus into a purchase in the store of knowledge or in fiat currency (euros, dollars, ...). Conversely those who receive more than they produce / contribute will be able to compensate for this deficit by contributions in fiat currency.

• A reliable, secure, economical means of exchange with a global architecture for a worldwide project.

The use of the Stellar ecosystem brings all the benefits of blockChain (security, decentralization, very low cost of exploitation, etc.) and the advantages of Stellar Smart Contracts (environment of trust, automation of contracts, flexibility of formats).
