I hate it that i feel forced to use bots for my posts...

I can't be the only one who dislikes the idea of having to use bots just to give your posts some attention. Sure if you have 10k followers, you might not have the need to use bots. If only 10% of your followers would see, read and upvote your post with that amount of followers, you would still get enough attention (i think).

Bots have taken over

Starting on Steemit

So for people like me who just started from scratch on Steemit and have like 200-1000 followers after a few months of posting articles, resteeming and following other people, hoping they will follow you back. It can be really really hard to get even 10 upvotes on your content. And this is just because of the simple fact, not many people will even see your content.

Lack of fair promotion tools?

The only way to gain more attention and exposure right now is to promote your post through Steemit itself, or to use bots. And this will cause the people with big followings and lots of money, to overschadow the content of the smaller creators.

Sometimes it is just not fair..

And of course the people who have like 10k + followers probably worked hard to get there, and i dont have any problems with that. However, when i see some of the posts made by some people who would just post a single picture with two lines of text under it and they would make over $100,- with such a post, i feel kinda bad.

Sometimes i would make a post where i worked hours upon hours to create such a thing, complete with video's pictures and what not. I would then post it on Steemit and some of the times i would maybe get like $2 total, and that would feel like i have just wasted my time.

But dont get me wrong, i am not a greedy person or anything. But when i worked hours on just one post, i would be happy with at least $5 or $10, just to feel like it was worth the time. And like i said, when i see people post something like you would on Twitter, and get crazy amounts of profit from that, that just sucks hard.

Cannot be changed?

I guess this is just how Steemit works and i doubt if it is possible to make change this system or improve upon it. But it sure as hell would be nice if something would improve.
