Mankind In A Nutshell - A Post About Everything We Want And Everything We Are

No special effects. I'll keep this post as short, simple and human as it could be. Just words:

The hardest task of mankind is finding a consensus. We work on this for generations.

We all long for a consensus with others

When we have it, we feel accepted just the way we are. And how much better could we feel than this?
We start feeling with others! We feel friendship! At higher levels we feel love.

Without a consensus there is no love, no peace and no working together. But we need to work together as a team for solving our problems. Something that's even hard to achieve in our stupid little daytime jobs. So what when it comes to being a team to solve our global problems?

Mankind created religions and political ideologies. So many books have been written about these things. All cultures developed on them. So many people suffered and died because of wars built upon them. And there is so much history to learn in school now. A history where most of us weren't even directly involved in.

What we don't learn is that all of these things were created because of our needs: we need to feel loved or at least accepted. We want a peaceful live. We want to feel save. We want something to hope for. And we want to feel free.

Every religion or ideology is based upon these needs. Trying to create solutions for it.

We have seen people thinking only they would provide the solution to everything. Hitler is an example for this. He believed that others wouldn't have the same needs behind their believe and so they had to be killed. And still we see dictatorships on our planet. We still see wars and civil wars because of stupid egoistic persons thinking they would provide solutions to everything or being the solution themselves. We haven't even started yet seeing us as mankind and not countries or religions. But all everyone of us really is since the day of birth is just one singular human entity living on planet earth.

Bringing it together with the heading of this post:

Often what we want is so much not what we are. And often what we are is so much not what we want.

Sounds so simple? Is it? Then why do we still fight instead of following our needs realizing we all have the same?

The irony is, that we don't believe in anything that hasn't got long complicated thoughts or stories around it. We want our ideologies or we don't trust in anything. Why don't we just follow love, peace and freedom in our everyday life? You need books to believe in these things?

Peace, love and freedom to all of you!

I think that most people, if able to do what they want in life, would lead a very peaceful existence.
It probably all boils down to happiness. If you are happy, its hard to want to fight another.

Unfortunately, living in a man-made system is unnatural and leads to people being unhappy and therefore ripe for manipulation by a third party who then points and says 'they' are the cause of your unhappiness.

Then its off to war when really the problem was manufactured by the higher echelons of the system you are under, no matter the country.

When a person or group believes they are above another human because of status/education/privilege/gang etc. and exercises that belief through force or coercion, it really belittles the whole human race.

There is no difference between us except whose sperm fertilised whose egg.

Absolutely. Why hasn't everybody already realized this?

Why don't we just follow love, peace and freedom in our everyday life?

Good question! If we all started with ourselves, the world would be a different one today :-)

You can call me an anarcho-hippie now! No just call me Katja. :-)
