Are you fascinated by the image of a black hole?

The event horizon telescope which is a network of 8 various telescopes around the world generated the first ever image of a black hole. While the image looks a bit blurry I find it to be an incredible feat considering how far away the black hole is. It is estimated to be 54 million light years away, the black hole it itself is the size of our solar system and measures about 40 billion km across and has a mass of 6.5 billion times the sun. While there are more questions than answers perhaps this will lead to a greater understanding of black holes.
