Finally water leak solved in my basement

I have been sucking up water for over two weeks and was sick of the flooding. I called the insurance company and they did an inspection and discovered that it was my toilet tank that was leaking. It was a 5 minute fix as I had to replace the hose only. Sad part is the insurance company advised that there was a $2200.00 deductible which in my opinion is crazy. I cancelled my claim but I am told that this still may affect my monthly premiums. Warning to all, don't call the insurance company if you can fix things yourself or can hire a contractor as the insurance companies are not there for you.
