Dear @chesatochi, powering up it will be not enough to become a minnow, but what do you mean about Mvest? You mean i could have vote value worth of 0.01 usd? Now it is 0.004 usd, what kind of investment it is? Of course if Steem will get back value of when i joined here i would be super happy to power up, but in an year we are talking about something like value from 1600 usd to 100 usd and even crypto spring didn't show a Steem going up like others ( it was 35 and now is again 50 in coinmarketcap!)...:(((
To be a minnow you need to have 500.16 Steem and this will give you 1 Mvest. A Mvest is like a share in the Steem blockchain, the same analogy of owning stocks.
Each Mvest will provide an interest of 0.001 Steem Power every hour wihout doing anything!
