Hello Steemers! Just got my account set up and wanted to share a quick way to get image links for your profile pic / cover image.

1. Save your picture in an appropriate pixel ratio (so it doesn't get streeetched). I used 400 x 400 pixels for profile pic and 1280 x 176 pixels for cover image and saved it as a jpeg.

2. Go to imgur.com and click on "new post" (you're not required to sign up; Big Brother is taking a break).

3. After it uploads, hover your mouse over the image and you will see a box that says "copy link". Click on this box to copy the image link and then paste it into your settings. Good to go!

Like some others, my Google drive links wouldn't work despite playing with the settings. According to Imgur, your pic link will remain active as long as it gets viewed at least once every six months.
