DTube Trending 101 - It’s All Promoted But Not All Garbage
Something I have learned over the last year is pretty well everything you see in DTube trending is promoted in some way. Myself included, I used several bidbots to take that 3rd place in trending spot but it’s a message I thought needed to be heard. Proving my point of blowing Steem by dropping it into bidbots seemed like a valid thing to do so I may pass along that message.
My message is that even though many promote their own work it’s not always for the sake of a profit, in my case it’s for visibility to try raise awareness for the subject at hand. The use of the bots shows I am invested and continue to support the projects I am apart of despite any market situations. Now I’ll take my own advice and get back to creating what I love.

Aha it most definitely is yet it is much more difficult to manipulate the YouTube trending, they make it garbage themselves 😝 which is much worse!

I agree with you. Some people promote their quality post to reach trending in order to gain more visibility and exposure to the community. But others use it to promote shit also
I can think of one person in particular that feeds off the flack from promoting his shitposts into trending 🤦♂️ at least mine was a edited video lol that takes much more effort then just some txt

Yeah I know not everyone here for only money or profit in terms . Some promotes post for becoming helping help to others and I think “You are one of them”.
Believe me I followed you 1 or 2 days ago and I motivated by you to support Steem with more efficiency.

Obviously it is for visibility so that people could know thoughts and could learn from it.

I took a chance by promoting that post into DTube trending, sometimes people will downvote just because you have promoted something they do not agree with.
I really just wanted a few of the bigger fish to know how I feel about making a joke of the current market situation, there are people out there filing bankruptcy or worse over this crash and it is no joking matter.
